SPRING FESTIVAL GALA 2019

This is a spectacular evening of performances to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Pig, brought to you by UCD Confucius Institute for Ireland and the Chinese Embassy in Ireland. Adding to the artistic diversity of traditional Chinese dance, arts and instrument performances, the gala will also feature acrobatics, Peking opera and the world heritage act of sword dance. The hugely talented and award-winning performance group Hubei Provincial Opera and Dance Drama Theatre have been on tour to over 60 countries, and will be making their debut show in Ireland.
